Throughout my career, I’ve been drawn to what it takes to become capable of something more.
I've built and led teams, developed leaders, and navigated transitions through periods of rapid change. Today, I bring that experience into coaching, helping leaders grow with intention.

I'm Joanna
I'm a wife and mom of three boys, a lifelong learner, endurance event enthusiast and an adult LEGO builder.
My bookshelves have a disproportionate number of books about leadership, high performance, resilience and human potential. I'm usually taking a class, considering a challenge that sounded like a good idea when I signed up for it, or building something.
I'm deeply interested in what people are capable of, especially when they aren't entirely sure they're capable of it yet.

A team member gave me this more than a decade ago because apparently I talked about growth enough that when she saw it, she thought of me. It's been in my office ever since.

Executive Coaching
My coaching journey began with a question - "What's your dream?". I realized it wasn't just another goal, another title another logo on my resume, it was about building something different.
I thought about all the times I'd wanted a coach to join me on calls, or replay a meeting, prepare for a meeting, a big presentation, an offsite, a difficult conversation. I thought about the development conversations I'd had with team members, the mentoring sessions, the promotions within the team and the joy I felt to watch people transform.
My training started with Co-Active through their Level 1 and Level 2 training, and I'm continuing on, working on my Associate Certified Coach (ACC) through the International Coaching Federation (ICF).
Why CAMBIUM?
This has been a common question. Why not name my company with my name?
Cambium is the thin layer that, in simple terms, supports new growth and protects and heals the old growth of a tree. It creates the rings we see in the cross-section of a tree. It's a natural symbol of growth.
It felt like the best name for my company focused on helping people grow.
